How To Create Virtual Printer Port For Usb
Hi,
As you have stated that when you connect the printer to computer through Via USB, Windows create a virtual printer port USB 001. if you continue without the physical connection and later you try to add the printer it doesn't have the virtual port USB001 to connect printer.
You may refer to the suggestion given by Afzal Taher replied on April 6, 2010 mentioned below on the following the thread.

My question was is there a way to create manually virtual port USB 001, or how to export from a computer that has one, file from registy and to import it to another computer. Solutions such as add printer port through control panel - printer properties, add printer is not solving the issue.
Thanks in advance to all of you who can provide an advice.

I researched this issue several years ago but can't find my notes.
My vague recollection is to do the following:
- Open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\inf
- Right-click usbprint.inf and select "Install"
It could be usbport.inf instead, but I don't think so.
