How to describe a strategy game map?
I'm programming a strategy game but I got stuck, since I can't figure out how to properly draw the map. The map is divided in provinces, which are different objects obtained past cutting the same plane in Blender. The easiest way would be to draw the textue in Photograph Shop and then apply it to the map, but there is an of import trouble: I would demand enourmous textures to keep them abrupt. And so now I'm trying to just utilise different materials to the provinces to draw them, this manner information technology keeps abrupt but I don't know how to draw the borders betwixt provinces. Since the provinces mesh'southward borders coincide with the borders i wanna draw I thought of making a slope or shader able to draw just around the mesh's borders but I didn't succeed. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
